first start with an full (headers back) exhaust and intake. If you have money go for HKS exhaust and either HKS, weapon R, or skunk 2 intake.Make sure your exhaust header and manifold are ceramic. If you can get the entire exhaust ceramic but the catback can be stainless steel if you cant find ceramic. Then find a stroker kit and stroke out the top and bottom of the engine (two seperate kits). That's if you plan on keeping the same engine. If not try swapping in a H22 or KA20.Also your going to have to swap in a stronger transmission, Flywheel and clutch, axles ( fidanza, Exedy, SPOON or MUGEN, Greddy, Centerforce, Clutchmasters) The key is to use the same brand for the parts. As in ur whole exhaust HKS and your whole transmission clutch and flywheel Fidanza. You can mix and match but you will get better performance if you don't. Also some bigger drilled and slotted brakes would definately be a good idea ( Nopi, Wilwood, Tenzo R, Spoon, Mugen). Definately get performance plugs and wires and ditributer cap and rotor(Definately get those the same brand). Also a bigger throttle body would help a lot. After that you should be pushing out around 500-600 HP. If you want more throw on a turbo. People have gotten around 600 HP after that much work. if you want more throw on a turbo. the record for the D16 series engines is a little over 700HP. Also you might wanna try screwing with the throttle body to. Porting and polishing knife edging your crank. Also do you cams..fuel injectors...valves...springs. Your head work is also very important. You want more try lighting up your pully's. Dont'4get the Hondata computer.........a coil pack from hks and others.....engine grounding kit........fuel pressure regulators..........A GOOD DAMN SUSPENSION........MIGHT HAVE YOURSELF IN SUPERSTREET..OR OR OR.....IMPORT TUNER......
