The first time to Talladega was in the 70's.Since then I have been there on many occasions.I've watched the Cup and Busch races from the stands and have watched the ARCA races from the garage and pit areas.
November of 2005 I drove the speedway with one of the driving experiance programs.I was in an older Andy Petree Monte Carlo.I averaged around 165 mph.I was on the track with 5 other cars.
And I'll be at the ARCA races in October.

I went to Talladega about two years ago. No race going on, though. Visited the Hall of Fame and toured the track. Impressive!

I have been to Talladega probably 14 times
Atlanta 12-14 times Charlotte 1time. I have always had a great time at the races but I would love to go to Bristol (nite-race) and Richmond,or Darlington. traveling was always the fun part we usually had at least a 6hr or more drive we were leaving from southern illinois

my wife has been to talladega. fall of 2003. the year jr won and there weren't any cautions. we came back from the Atlanta race and visited the motor sports hall of fame . it was awesome. only about 6 people in the whole place

been to four cup races, two arca races, a busch race and an iroc race there. greatest track anywhere. if you go there first it will spoil you for any other track. it's a long haul from iowa where i live but it's worth a trip from anywhere.

I would seriously love to go and meet the drivers. Or at least go to qualifying.
