I have heard of men using a clear coat. I even think there are some made with a dull shine just for men. But my opinion is that I love clean nails on men but not polished to FEM for me!!
If a man likes to have clean nails a buffer shiner nail file would do the trick without having to paint his nails!!

Yes! It's not uncommon for a gentleman to have clear polish put on his nails when having a manicure. There are many, many men who have their nails done routinely, and believe me, it's not sissy. It's called well groomed.

Well technically, yes. Their nails are made out of the same stuff that women's nails. but if a man did paint his fingernails, that might be rather strange...unless its halloween.

Yes, I've been considering it. I'd say it's a big step to gothdom. Signifies once and for all that you don't care what people think of you. Black polish, that is.

I don't see any reason why not. My brother paints his nails black all the time.

My daughter-in-law painted my sons fingernails and toenails red when he was sleeping. I thought that was a riot! lol
