When balls have a soft feel, what does that mean? Does it effect distance or spin control?

Affects distance as in shorter or longer?

Also, a ball with less spin feels not as soft then?

There are many many different types of golf ball. Some of these are like hitting a stone, really hard, others like the Teitlest PRO V 1 have a much softer "feel" upon impact with the club. Also when putting it is the same effect. The softer ball seems to have a lot more spin and distance is not effected. Mind you at almost £10/ 3 they are not cheap.
