Can anyone help me? i reformatted my computer a few weeks ago, but noone told me not to boot it from the CD. i need to know how to put my computer back to orginal factory day 1. There is a program i need "Intervideo WinDVD". When i formatted and booted from the CD, i deleted C drive and reinstalled Windows XP. . now the Dell people told me there was no way for me to get back the imagery of the orginial factory settings.

Upgrade to a new one. DD2400 is too slow for anything anymore.

It's gone. Intervideo has a program that you can buy. Google the website. Also, didn't you get some software CDs with your PC when you bought it? If so, look to make certain that you don't have a CD for that program.

U didn't do the system backup after you set it up????
