I'm a guy and I was walking down the hallway of my coed dorm when I over heard a girl say she saw 5 really hot guys. I couldn't help but wonder if I was in that category or not. Maybe I'm just an average hot guy or maybe I'm not hot..I don't know. What do you girls find physically attractive in a guy? (Muscles, face, shoulders, hair, ***?) I'm trying to figure out what category I'm in and what I need to work on. Thanks

guys who are clean, and put together are a generally good thing. if it looks like you got some style and what not. also, guys who dont try too hard. a guy with confidence can be one of the sexiest things ever. if you dont care what other people think about you and are confortable with yourself, it shows. a guys smile is really important too. if you have nice straight white teeth, thats hot. im sure your a sexy rexy anywho, so stop worrying about some girl in the hall and keep on being a stud.

Oooooo... that really depends on the girl. We're different from guys in the sense that we're not as shallow, in general. Don't get me wrong, there are really shallow girls as well as there are very sweet, sincere guys out there.
I just think if you ask 10 different girls, you'll get 10 different answers. I think guys tend to agree more about what is "hot."
So I'll just tell you what I find irresistable. I am truly attracted to intelligence and sense of humor. I want someone I can talk to, and I tend to want to lean on intelligent guys more. I feel that I can trust what they tell me. Other than that, I am very attracted to big, BIG hearts.
Physically, I like a smile that gives me a good feeling. It doesn't matter if the teeth are crooked, have braces, etc. I have a tendancy to check out bike messengers (I love the way they dress). Some girls love tans and muscles, blah, blah, blah. I think that is beyond tacky, myself.
Overall, I want a guy that looks/seems passionate about something other than the gym, sports, or strip clubs!

Everygirl has a different taste... With all my friends, we never like the same guy, one girl may say he's hot & the otherone may not think so.Me personally, I like manly muscles shoulders, defined jaw line, not like gross muscle man at the gym though... Then my other friend prefers the younger skater type & hates muscles... and one girl loves blonde, the other one wouldn't go there... Confidence is a real turn on, but not arrogance.. & as long as guys don't try too hard. Don't change yourself for anyone, sure theres lotsa girls who think you're hot & just their type!

this may sound odd, but girls are way more into personality. we may look at physical features initially....but girls actually like guys if they have a good personality. so getting a girl is essentially a two part process.
1. be atleast moderatley attractive. hot guys usually have an athletic, but not too muscular or skinny build. Studies have shown women are attracted to features that are symmetrical and understated... look at colin farell or brad pitt...no big noses, chins, one wonky eye etc. etc. you don't have to be super tan, but don't look like a ghost. personal hygeine is important...no B.O. or acne OR back hair.
2. even if you're not the hottest guy in the room..it's fine. if you're funny, laid back, intelligent and ambitious ( as in you have a job/ go to school and have some goals) girls will be attracted to you. oh and don't be aggressive...it's not cute and kinda scary. don't bullsh*t a girl or try too hard...we have women's intuition remember? every girl i know and have known has dated lots of guys that they didn't look twice at initially and once they started talking and got to know each other all of a sudden the guy became really really hot.

A lot matters, but this is what comes to mind... a general good build (not fat), healthy complexion, nice clean teeth and good smelling breath, good casual style, sexy hair (not too overdone or over-processed (color-wise or product-wise), confidence is key, has some goals in life, is pretty interesting to talk to, witty, charming and is nice to girls (and guys), knows roughly what's happening in the world, pretty smart (but not a show-off), is comfortable in a dive-bar or in an upscale restaurant, doesn't use the f-bomb in every other sentence, has some general class and is tolerant of others lifestyles.

I like guys who have confident and really hot smiles. I'm a sucker for shaggy hair. Muscles are an option. Face....well, let's put it this way, it doesn't hurt to be good looking. Most of all, he has to be nice, honest, smart, and funny. Everyone loves to laugh. Just be yourself. Don't be Brad Pitt or Orlando Bloom, they have flaws too, you just don't know it. It is not just your looks.
It is your personality. You should be polite and kind to others. Have a sense of humor.
Make me feel good about myself.
It is just so much more than your looks! Okay ...I guess looks do count ....but only for a moment. The minute you meet a guy and he does something wrong...and I don't just mean goofy...I mean say inconsiderate or rude...then all the good looks go right down the drain.

3. Shoes (Not for the materialistic value, but you can tell a lot by someones shoes... If the shoes are not clean, chances are he doesn't know how to take care of himself, or doesn't care- both huge turnoffs)
4. Hands (To rule out a possible wedding ring... I'm aging myself)
In that order, I have perfected it.
P.S. Muscles-Schmuscles... Lean- Yes! Brauny- Hells no!
For clarity... the eyes and smile... it's not about movie star good looks, it's about warm eyes and plain old happiness.
