I have a problem with my air control. I have 5 settings on the air. It only blows on 4 and 5. What is the problem?

The blower motor may be burnt out on the lower speeds or the switch may be bad. One thing to try on the switch is if you use the high speeds most of the time, the back of the switch could have some corrosion on it. Try selecting from #1 to #5 very fast a couple of times, this may knock off the corrosion on the back. It's worth a try. Good luck, but you may have to replace one or the other.

There is a switch that turns on the different levels of air flow in the car. Sounds like this switch is going bad. It is behind the dash though so this would be a dealer item to replace.

Sounds like you need a blower resistor or motor fan speed controller most the time the switch is still good. A cautionary: if the fan blower motor draws to much current the problem will happen again.
