Well what I honestly think is that why should she have homeschooling just because of bad words. Just tell her that there is more important stuff to be worrying about than just worrying about bad words. Wherever she goes she is always going to hear bad words. I really agree with you, that is a really WEIRD idea. Hope this helps!!

Well if she feels that offended with the words being spoken, and no one is doing anything to change it , then there's really not a lot of options left. I think the real problem is WHY is the school allowing this kind of language to go on? I think you friends values are rather mature. Maybe home schooling is a little bit much (but maybe not depending on the severity of it all) but at least she is aware of the wrong doing, and would like to set herself up in a better environment.
You got to respect her for that!

Some people want to shield their kids from reality. They instill in their kids the idea that they can be shielded from reality. I think it will be interesting when this new group of home-schooled kids grow up and have to get jobs and deal with real people.
On a side note...the American Jihad who is Zhawiri's right hand man was homeschooled. Maybe he couldnt handle American life when he finally was faced with it.

I think she is using that for an excuse not to go to school. In today's world unfortunately we hear bad language where ever we go. What does she plan on doing? Isolating herself from the rest of society? But, I'll bet you'll see her at all of the fun events.........and I'll even bet that the "bad words" won't bother her very much then.

Homeschooling is not something to be taken lightly. If the only reason she doesn't want to go to school is the language, chances are she will never learn to adjust to social situations. Part of growing up is learning to deal with others.

No matter where you go, you're always going to hear people swearing. They do it in movies and music also. She needs to start getting used to it and fast.
