I was wondering if there was any laws people didn't like and why they didn't like them. Also What would you change the law to say?

I would change the way cars are made...I would do away with SUV's and oversized pickup trucks and I would want vehicles to only go 50 or 60 miles per hour....imagine if these changes were put in place...how many accidents would not happen due to speed and road rage and road hogs and such.....I'm not saying there wouldnt be any, but I guarantee it would go down

Two areas of it that bristle me alot. One is when a grizzly -violent person who won't change either gets off the hook or soon gets handed the chance to be a repeater. By the same token I hate it that so many people who are innocent honestly do get convicted, sometimes by a)false or mistaken "evidence"/testimony but nearly as often b)by mistake in identity or due to prejudice. Justice is blind in both of those eyes a & b, so i just wish her some sight back. There is another thing that rubs me wrong also and it is closely related to the first but it is probably the most important because it affects little children for an entire lifetime and that is the kind of sentencing people get who abuse, attack, abduct, molest, torture, and/or murder children whether those children are male or female. community service, probation, jail,
and prison are not equality of punishment for those crimes, neither are they deterrants, otherwise, the offenders would not reoffend in those, the most dreadful of crimes against gentlest humanity. So,The punishment should somehow fit the crime and prevent its reoccurance. Since nothing seems to be viable to deter the illness in molesters and murderers, i believe sexual disorientation spent in some sort of productive (as in nearly self sufficient- i don't care if that means they have to raise the nation's bees and collect their honey to pay rent and utilities and groceries there on their own-but no more tax payer support) closed colony of like offenders (for life). That would be a good alternative until someone can come up with something more effective and child protective.
I am for any law concerning those issues that would make sense that way. Once that was taken care of, I would like to see laws that address by repairing the blindness issues stated above.

I don't like laws which essentially say a girl can have willing sex with anyone she wants with no penalty at all, but if the man she has sex with is a certain age he is supposed to go to jail and be a registered sex offender for the rest of his life, just like a baby raper.

You may not realize it, but until the 70's when the feminists took over, it was also a criminal offense for a girl to have sex when she was not old enough to marry and take care of the kids.

Now, a 15 year old girl can have sex legally twenty times a day, but the one individual over a certain age goes to state prison while she and the 19 younger lovers are left alone.

To me the answer is not to let old men have sex with 15 year old girls, but to penalize 15 year old girls who are risking producing unwanted children.

If it is not a crime for her to do it, the age of her lover should not make it a crime for him.

To make this personal, if my daughter were still 15 years old, and planning to have sex with someone, I would much prefer she do it with a 35 year old man with a substantial income to pay child support, than a 15 year old boy with candy money and she files for welfare making the taxpayers pay her way. Yet, the 35 year old man goes to prison, and the worthless 15 year old boy, who also probably is lousy in bed, gets a handshake.

I bet a lot of 15 year old girls would much prefer to get it in a penthouse suite with room service than in the back seat of a Yugo, since a lot of them do it anyway.

A friend once told me these laws were passed, because the feminists understood older men like younger women, and they can't stand the thought of the mature man enjoying himself.

Let me repeat that the issue is not letting men get away with it, but to also penalize the girls for having sex with no capacity to support a kid or have a man support them.

I would change the tax laws. Mainly the way in which the funding is appropriated. Changing criminal laws is a waste. People do what they want regardless. From drugs to seat belts prove that.

I don't think it should be against the law for women to walk around topless. Look at how good Europe is without having laws like this. Men can do it, so women should be able to as well.

Fix the Equal Protection Clause in the 14th.

Amendment -- True Equal Protection

1. Neither Congress, nor any state, shall make any law which discriminates on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or religion.

2. The benefits, rights, privileges and immunities afforded to any individual or couple, whether granted by Congress or by any state, must be equally available to all citizens of the United States regardless of their race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or religion.

3. No personal relationship between two consenting adults may be limited, nor may any legal benefits of such relationship between two consenting adults be withheld, by Congress or by any state, on the basis of the race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, or religion of either participant in such relationship.

Flat tax.

Sorry, just too complicated as it is. Makes tax planning nearly impossible unless you are rich enough to afford an expensive accountant.

Forbes has good ideas on this.
