I am currently living in Florida and want a change. I just want to know if you like it and how is the job market/economy. I work in Real Estate in Florida so maybe I will continue working in real estate, is that a good market there? Also, I want to go to law school, any suggestions on a good but affordable school. I know I can do research myself but it is always nice to hear from a local. Thanks. I hope "Travel" is the an okay category

New Mexico and I believe Arizona as well have all kinds of taxes. State tax, income tax, local tax...etc.....I live in El Paso, 1 hour from NM. and there arn't as many taxes here. I was raised here but moved to Fl. Moved back to get away from the Hurricanes and arrived just in time for the 100 year flood....The southwest is a beautiful place to live tho'. Good luck.

Okay, I live in New Mexico, the four corners region. Which means I am forty five minutes away from three other states at any given time. The area here is what I call living in the bannana belt because our weather is strange. Where cities in slightly higher elevations get snow we get nothing and the summer's here are dry hot (no humidity) and winters are either wicked cold with no snow or lots of snow with semi normal cold weather temps. I do live close to Colorado border and I have access to four great snow ski resorts as well as some of the best golf courses in the country. Economically speaking real estate is boom or bust in the county but I know in other counties is great almost all year pending on your speciality. Arizona has better controlled weather but more population in bigger areas. I live in a town that has 8000 people and 7 old soreheads (we a infamous for that) the neighboring town of Farmington has maybe 3000 more people. Crime isn't horendous but the Meth problem is huge and pregnancy and drinking is something our teens practice regularly.

If you need more information email me. I can give you links to my area and what not.
