Not necessarily "strangers", but perhaps enemies. Depending upon the level and kind of fear, people are currently murdering other people who have lived next to them for years. I'm speaking of Islamic zealots, of course, whose acting out the energy of their fear in hate can be directed by power hungry religious leaders/sadists.

Must negative behavior is the venting of a fear converted into hate, rage, or aggression.
Peace

fear makes strangers of people who COULD be friends

yes and no.... yes because one person might fear about what others think, or how that person might react "every action has a reaction" so that is why people stay in their cliques or maybe you only see the outside of the person looks mean, or decent, but inside the person in nice, or mean....and no because maybe the person is brave and is willing to risk his pride... but what makes strangers in friends that you have is pressure... or panic... like that commercial about the pressure to do drugs... or if you are about to die, or something that person turns on you and will do anything to survive... simple, that is the way we stupid humans are...
