The first 5 months that it was up, the format was just fine and it was so enjoyable to just answer and ask questions. It's been going downhill since then in their effort to "improve" the look of the site.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!! When will they ever learn. All the "improvements" have been such a turn off.

I am no longer able to use YAnswers since the “improvements” the afternoon of Sept 14th. I have a 6 year old Dell computer with Windows Millennium Edition. I am using Internet Explorer Version 6.0. I am unable to update because 7.0 won’t work with Windows ME. I have tried posting in the forum, buy the staff just ignores me. Someone suggested posting a question in Answers, but I can’t. (See #9.) Now I am going to see if I can answer.
Here are a few of the problems. As you can see, your program is totally useless to me.
1) Ratings pile up on top of each other on the right on top of the first answer.
2) Avatars pile up on top of each other on the left on top of the first answer.
3) All answers are just one long answer; they are not separated from each other, do not correspond to the names of the answerers.
4) The "pencil" button doesn't work on the question page. When you click on it, the e goes round and round and finally stops. The message at the bottom says, "Done, but with errors on page."
5) The "cross" button doesn't work on the question page. Same problem as #4 above.
6) When you click on "Comments" nothing happens. You can't read comments or add comments.
7) You can’t show/hide an answer that you have rated “Thumbs Down.”
8) You can’t get any information when moving your mouse over the answerer’s avatar.
9) If you try to ask a question, you get an “oops” message that tells you to choose a category, even though you have chosen a category.

awful awful changes. why do these companies always feel the need to "improve" on something that doesnt need any changes? It was way easier to use before, and more attractive.

I do. I wish they would make more sensible changes like allowing you to delete your previous questions and answers.
