At first, I was angry at people who committed suicide such as Kurt Cobain and that lead singer for INXS. I have to separate that type of thinking and just appreciate what their contributions have been to the music world.

Suicide is a selfish choice. My personal life has been damaged by it. As a musician myself, I agree that you have to appreciate the music they left behind and just wonder how much more they could have done that would be enjoyable.
Life is too short to shorten.

My thought is that a lot of really talented, exceptional artists have mental health issues. Whether it be today's rock stars or yester year's painters and writers. For some it goes hand in hand - if they did not have a mental illness they would not be so talented.

unfortunately they left this world to early and I'm sure they could have contributed a lot more music, not good

In order to be creative in any way, you can't have a "normal" working mind. Maybe they were a bit farther out than we thought.
