There's a really cool chain store called Animal. There's all kinds of trendy chic clothes. The prices aren't bad and the styles are awesome! I've got several pairs of pants and blouses there, love em'
The one I went to was in a mall in barra da tijuca.....

Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Most of the cute sandals and wedges rae made in brazil. Just go to the vendors in the city.

I cant think of anything that isnt fabulous in so far as shopping,the markets,the clothiers etc

It depends to where are you going to.Clothes here comparing to US it's really cheap.I don't know if it's right to say but, buy "hand craft"...earrings, neck-less, made with seeds...it's really nice, beautiful.You'll like it.
