I assume you are referring to Ramadan. If not please excuse my response. Here are a few related links to your question. If you are in good physical condition and would like to fast, you will need to have a exam with your doctor, seek his advice. It could be worse to fast, putting your baby at risk, than to miss the fast and make it up later... If you opt to do the second, you are suppose to give extra to charity, enough to feed a homeless person everyday... I'm waiting to get results from a pregnancy test, and I'm going through the same debate... ♥ Good luck with your choice.

Is this for religious reasons? Talk to both your doctor and your religious leader about the fasting requirements and exceptions for pregnancy. I don't know about other religions but the Catholic church does make adjustments for pregnant women (plus the fact that fasting doesn't exactly mean starving oneself to begin with).
If it is for a medical test, make sure the doctor ordering it knows you are pregnant and talks to your Ob.

I would strongly recommend against it, since one of the most important things during pregnancy is to eat healthy and take in as much nutrients as you can, for both you and the baby. Since most people's diets do not take in enough vitamins, especially in folic acid, make sure you not only eat a well-balanced diet during your pregnancy, but also take your prenatal vitamins. In fact, start taking them when you are considering becoming pregnant, and take them after you have the baby if you are nursing.

I think you could fast from certain foods but I don't believe that it is wise to fast from food completly. And if you are fasting you don't just have to fast from food you can also fast from things that are seemingly important to you as well-i.e. tv, internet, talking on the phone extc.

Absolutely not!
Would you refuse to give your baby its bottle when its hungry? Fasting denies that same baby the nutrients it needs on a regular basis.

Jesus NO!! You baby gets everything from you, and if your not eating he or she isnt either. You chose to become pregnant, now suck it up for the next 7 or 8 months, and do right by your child.
