If "top" means, the team with the most points, then it could well be Detroit again, because they play a lot of games in-division against much weaker teams. I think the schedule is the same as last year with a lot of in-division games (?) The competition is more balanced in-division against other contending teams in the other divisions, so they won't win as many.

I can't decide between these three both really fast teams. Speed=Stanley Cup
Canadians
Hurricanes
Sabres
also i believe any team in the west cannot win the cup because the west teams focus on the physical game and will beat each other up in the playoff run. the east teams won't be as tired going into the finals.
