No amount of evidence will convince those who do not want to be convinced. It's always, oh the scientists will find a solution, or that's just your opinion, or maybe as you suggest, God will take care of us. Anything to avoid taking responsibility and doing something. God forbid you should ask them to make a sacrifice for their kids and grandchildren.
In case you want to know what I'm doing, among other things, I gave up eating meat (yes, producing meat is very bad for the environment) thirty years ago, and I do not own a car.

The earth has always gone through periods of warming and cooling. We just don't believe in spending billions of dollars on something that may or may not have anything to do with human activity. The liberals demand something be done, but it's based on an emotional argument rather than a rational one.

I agree with Jef - its not going to become a priority until we make it one. But on the whole voters vote with their hip pockets. We are conservative and like our wealth. Government's should be responsible, take the wealth off us and force us to comply to make things better. But that is unpopular for them. It is the dilemma of our age I'm afraid.

They understand that there's no evidence showing that this isn't natural. There is a lot of info coming in now that is in direct opposition to Global Warming theorists. Still, I leave science to scientists. When you make it political, theories and scientists are often ignored or hushed.

Did you know Al Gore once said in a menshealth magazine, "All in all, the Earth will be fine, there is nothing we can really do to hurt it."
Then he said the earth is going to end in 10 years as of January 27th of this past year.
WTF???????
Plus, there are not really any evidence to support it
