Fertilize w/ palm tree fertilizer.

Plant a queen palm next to it works for me everytime.

i got this answer from the head landscaper of Disneyland,,,, u have to either build a trough around it so it deep waters it,, or put 4 perforated PVC tubes into the ground and deep water it that way,, young kings need a lot of water
