YOUR HIPS SO NICE, AND YOUR
PLUMP BREST ,YOUR LONG YELLOW
HAIR TO MATCH YOUR EYES,
I LOVE YOU AND YOUR BODY
AS YOU CAN SEE I TELL NO LIES.

I'm drifting back to simpler days
Of child-like innocence and carefree ways

Remembering times spent with others from school
The places we'd go, like the mall, seemed so cool

The biggest daily decision we faced
Was how to ge to the playground in haste

Our only conundrum was how to include
As much play time as possible before home for food

Summer vacations, bike rides with a friend
The endless joys, they seemed to just blend

We needn't worry when bill became due
For what bills were, we had not a clue

Unaware of responsibility
Save for when it came up in a school spelling bee

For what truly mattered was did we yet own
The latest sneakers that Nike had shown

Indeed simpler times, but in retrospect
Life is just fine now with intellect

It's great to remember, but what seems the key
Is keeping that child-like outlook in me

To realize our cares today can seem small
By letting God handle them once and for all

A child-like innocence is easy to keep
As children of God, it's just one blessing we reap
