i would get it appraised first by a jeweler who will tell you how much it's worth. then sell it. sometimes, jewelers might even buy it from you.

It depends on how big the diamond and how much gold is in the band. I sold a 1/2 carat engagement ring on Yahoo Auctions for $350. If I were you, I would have it appraised at a jewelry store and go from there.

You'll probably get in between 1/2 to 3/4 of the money back. This is higher if the ring has a high carat count or rare materials in it. If you want to sell it, I've seen some people get a huge amount of their investment back when they sold it on ebay. Good luck!

Put it up on e-bay and see what you get. I think getting an appraisal is a good idea, too, before you try to sell it and have the jeweler clean it and polish it and all that. It will cost a few bucks, but at least you'll know what you have. I would think the jewelry would appreciate, not depreciate, but what do I know.

Not alot...most people don't want used rings...Guys or girls.
You'd do best to go to a few pawn shops to see what they'd give you for it...Don't expect to get anywhere near $760. You'd proabably only get around $400.
If you don't like that deal then you could just take the diamond from your ring and have it put on a gold necklace....the pawn shop is probably best tho.

No where near what he paid for it! Maybe $100 - $200. Depending on the condition of the rings and how bad someone needs to buy your set. Go to a Pawn shop and ask them what they would give you for them.

It's better if you either e-bay it with a high reserve price, or go to a jewler.

Pawn shops will give you 10% or less of the original priice.
