that was just your security settings being cautious. the scanner said there wasn't any viruses so if you have updated your virus scanner in the last two weeks i guess it's safe.

here are some other free online virus scanners that you can scan with right online. try them and see if your scanner missed anything.

◙ Here are some free web-based virus scanners that you don't have to download. Be sure to try them all. One might find something the others have missed.

Yes, like most people said, it's a standard warning.

However, be aware that if you're downloading an executable (.EXE) or any similar files, your file might contain malicious code ("malware") that is NOT detectable by a virus scanner. For example, some nice-looking games that people share on the Internet can contain malware such as trojans or spyware.

Just be on the lookout and don't execute files just for the heck of it. And always be on the lookout for "free stuff" on the Internet. ** Nothing's free!** There's always a catch...

I suggest not, reason is because it maybe a new virus so that why the scan said it doesn't found any viruses. also, it not a good thing if there is windows message warn you about the file you about to download, unless you know what the file is contain, still it can be containing spyware (spyware is not danger but it cause your computer to slow in performant, you can remove them easily, all most all of them.) which you will not know. if you want your computer to run smoothly and fast then i recommend you use ccleaner, they clean your internet files which take alot of space in your hard-drive and also computer issues. (the links is: http://ccleaner.com/download/downloadpage.aspx?1)
if your computer is infect by spyware, i suggest you use ad aware se. they remove spyware and virus from your computer for free (the links is: http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1)

Totally cool. The message is just letting you know that it's possible a file of that type could have bad code. If your virus check OK'd it, go for it.

hi, use a more secure browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

old kid, if you have scanned it and all that, then it should be safe to download, this is a default security setting, nothing more. Good Luck
