They are hollow or have a solt core in them. so first you have to make a mold for the core then a mold for the bat. then pore the liquid aluminum into the mold, let it cool and then turn it on your lathe

Aluminum bats are hollow so I don't know how you would drill and then some how cap the the end. Also, you would need maybe a 3-1/2 to 4 inch inch diameter aluminum bar about 3 feet or more long. This would be pretty expensive. But the drilling the I.D. ( inside diameter) would be the challenge. Turning the outside would be pretty easy if you have the right equipment. If you made the bat solid with out drilling, it would be too heavy to swing.
