Hey it sounds like what I experienced exactly...guess what though...i'm 3 days overdue today and am soooo frustrated. I too was dilated to a 3 sometimes with contractions 3 mins apart for an hour and then they would stop...with a couple of visits to Labor & Delivery they told me that when they come walk, walk, walk to regulate them and keep them coming. My feet hurt from all the walking i've been doing and still no baby. Now i'm having backpain and then contractions in my abdomen, these apparently are what they should be like but fingers crossed not too much longer. You can go any day but it could still be a while...I feel for you as I know how agonising it is. Baby will come when he's good and ready but sounds like you're very close. Those false contractions are preparing you and dilating your cervix...i'm not sure about yours but our healthcare provider's general rule is that if you're dilated to a four they will admit you whether or not contractions are regular then break your waters, contractions will come after that no doubt! Good luck!

You probably are in the early stages of labor. Thats how I was had a doc appointment at 1 pm was 2cm and contractions on and off while I was for an hour then later that day around 6pm they was 5 to 3 mins apart and strong. Then had my son 7:22 am the next morning. Good luck!

it relatively is fake labor, I had consistent contractions like this for 6 weeks. All night 3 min. aside. try ingesting something and ingesting an outstanding variety of water, empty your bladder approximately each and every 30 min. this would help shop you from having fake labor too. seek for any prepare heavy discharge, mucus plug or some recognizing, bleeding. it relatively is the only indication your cervix is changing till now you have a doctor actual verify you to make certain while you're dilatating. Drink rasperry tea, this would soften your cervix. only 1 extra week. I even have 13 to pass.

My doctor told me to wait until they were 5-6 minutes apart or my water broke. But if you would feel better go to the hospital, they'll monitor you and check your cervix, then call your doctor and maybe youll have a baby in a day or so or you'll get sent home. Best of luck and congrats!!!

I am 38 weeks and my dr. says to call him when they are 5 minutes apart for more than an hour ulness my water breaks. So if you call he will probably tell you to sit tight unless you live a long way from the hospital.

Go get checked. It wouldn't harm you none to go to the hospital. All they can do is send you back home. You may be more dilated than the last time you were at the doc.
Congrats, hope you have a speeding & wonderful delivery. Best wishes & god bless.

sounds like you are truly in the onset of labor, If you are getting painful and unmanageable contractions that are closer together, you need to go to hospital. Take care and be Strong = )

I would go to the hospital. I mean the worst they can do is send you home. At least you'll know ifyour dialated more and if they think it will be soon.
