I could have sworn the final episode was when Simon was going to get married but then he decided not to then like the whole family came together blah blah blah. But its like today I just was a commerical for a new season and Jewel is suppsot to be on it. Someone care to explain.

Ok, yes it is true that the last episode was when simon was supposed to get married but didn't blah blah blah. That last epidsode was on WB but CW (the new channel) picked it up for a garrenteed 13 epidsodes. check out the website below for more info on CW and 7th heaven

The CW decided to pick it up for an 11th season, and depending on how it does they may or may not give it a 12th.

They were going to cancel it, but for some reason they decided to make another season. I don't know why.

The actors have nothing better to do with their lives so they decide to live in this 'fantasy world' as long as they can.

it's because WB ended, and it's now with UPN as the CW, so the CW picked it back up, along with Gilmore Girls.

nope. it's done. but the CW has taken on the reruns of the old episodes.
