OH yes , we value life more as we get older , when your young you just live to have fun it seems and once you hit that 40 mark you tend to realize that life is shorter than we think and each and every day is a blessing..We kinda mellow out..Stop and smell the roses along the way..Yeh I'm sure grateful to wake up each morning..

yep -- and Ripley's Believe It or Not, I'm finding that I'm even grateful for the crummy times in my life, for the lessons I've learned from them. Evermore increasingly with each passing day. I'm 56 & it takes very minimal reflection to recognize the magnitude of the immense amount of blessings enjoyed while routine world affairs seem to be swiftly degenerating into a downward spiral of helplessness. Our health, safety, security & general wellbeing should always be appreciated & never taken for granted. The disturbing number of complaints of boredom can never be justified with the vast opportunities for excitement, growth & achievement. Thanks for sharing.
