I've just been having horrible cramps lately. I've never had them before, but after I had my daughter, they seem to be worse with each cycle...

Be sure not to skip your meals. No to spicy food. Place a hot water bag wrapped with a towel and put that on you tummy. And always sit up straight. That's what I used to do everytime I had menstrual cramps. Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!!!!!!

Elo! =D

Oooo, I sympathize with ya!

Well, I don't get hardcore cramping when I'm on my cycle. Midol is <3! Lol!

Well, I can give you a piece of advice:

Walking helps the body regulate easier with a little bit of excersise! Heres' what ya do, when you go grocery shopping; park your car in a FAR away lot, and you'll get extra walking time in there, as well as during the shopping!

Good luck! =D

Drinking milk helps alleviate cramping. Mild exercise like walking or doing crunches helps as well.

Ibuprofin--motrin or advil for example--will reduce inflammation and stop the pain.
Exercise definitely helps.
Sex! It's true--the warmth relieves pain and the body releases pain-reducing endorphins.
Chocolate releases the same chemicals as sex. :-)
A heating pad or those new patches that stick to the body and warm up.

exercise helps a lot -
pamprin
lavender oil rubbed on your tummy( where you hurt)
and the best of the best for me oregano tea-boil a couple of pinches of oregano in 2 cups water - cool add some sugar drink -and the pain is gone - however it might put you to sleep for a while

hot water bottle helps...doesnt stop the pain but definately makes them more bearable. nirofen plus works very well, or even rubbing you lower back in circular motion
