how do i change it so when i long on messenger doesn't open automaticaly?

Go into settings and hit the general button and it should be right there. uncheck that box..Hope that helps

With messenger open..click on messenger,then preferences. Under the General category you will the box for it to start automatically uncheck it and click apply. You should be all set after that.

there is a box under messenger that says auto log me in uncheck that box : )

options and uncheck "start on start up" and/or "Start when computer connects"
