win the AL central to close to call with Liriano being questionable I really don't know the Twins need to be 4 games ahead in the wild card to curies through the end series I still think that the wild card will come down to end series of the season with ChiSox and Twins. as, far as the Tigers go they have been fading for some time but I think it will come down between the Twins and Tigers which should make a good series in the post season

It's a toss up between the Tigers and the Twins. The Twins have been hot the second half of the season, and even though Liriano is out now for the season, they were still hot before his return. The Tigers, though, have a slightly easier schedule. The White Sox has the toughest schedule among the three, with the A's, Tigers, and Twins. I don't think they will make it.
In my totally biased opinion (I'm a Twins fan), the Twins take the division and the Tigers get the wild card.

The Tigers will take the Central and the Twins the Wild Card or vice versa.
Whatever happens, I'm pretty sure the Sox are out.
Serves 'em right for acting like a bunch of thumb-sucking two-year-olds.

Division/wild card: Tigers or Twins.
White Sox cannot catch up.
PS, to Daniel Z, the Twins would actually be the Indians imitators, except the Twins will probably make the playoffs this year. The Tigers cannot be Indians imitators because the Indians came from behind last year.

AL Central Champs- Detroit Tigers
Wild Card Team- Minnesota Twins
It's very difficult to play catch up. When a team is behind they focus on catching the other team. When they do catch that team they relax and lose focus, causing them to fall back again. The Tigers will have a late season push, the Twins will follow, but the White Sox just don't have it this year. Ozzie Guillen has been a distraction. It doesn't matter what the players think, he has caused them to miss the post season.

Up until September, I've been counting on Detroit to win the division. Now, I'm not so sure with Minnesota hot on their tails. I'm not sure how far back the White Sox are, but the Tigers and Twins will probably make the playoffs in whatever order, but the Yankees are probably the team to beat.
Nice Avatar, by the way.

that's deffinitly going to be a tought conflict for first. you have 4 relatively good communities that could desire to win it. those being the White Sox, Twins, Tigers and Indians. i'm questioning extra like... a million. White Sox 2. Twins. 3 Tigers 4. Indians && the wild card deffinitly popping out of the AL important.
