Last year, skinny jeans tucked into boots showed up on just a few forward-thinking fashionistas.

"We had them last year, and we did terrible with them," says Tom Simon, owner of Hub Clothing at Scottsdale Fashion Square. "This year, they've been one of our bestsellers."

This season, more celebs have worn the look, which means more real women try it.

"Once you see someone else with it once, more people are willing to take a chance," Simon says. "A lot of people are afraid to be that pioneer."

The best-selling style at his store is the Earnest Sewn jean in the Decca style, about $200. Here are his three tips for picking jeans to wear with boots:

1. Only tuck skinny jeans into boots. Flared or boot-cut jeans will bunch up.

2. Buy jeans that you want to wear without boots. Slim jeans will carry over into spring, and you'll want to wear them with embellished flats, high heels or maybe high-top Converse for a punky, casual look.

3. Keep the pocket and other details simple. You'll have a lot going on in the overall look, so you won't need extra embellishments on the jeans.

Skinny jeans are jeans that are cut to fit close on the body, rather than boot cut or relaxed/loose fit. they are for the skinny chicks. Funny question!! I saw these jeans in shape magazine, there was an article about the different cuts of jeans.

They're those really tight jeans that follow the line of your legs exactly, all the way down. They should only be worn by extremely skinny people, otherwise they make your thighs look HUGE. Hence the name, skinny jeans.

Skinny jeans are jeans that cling to the entire leg, and they are currently in style and available in most department stores as well as places like Target. They seem to look best on lean and tall people with small hips. I have a couple pairs, but they do seem to make my hips look really wide, so I only wear them with tunic shirts.

Skinny jeans are just what it says: skinny jeans. They fit straight down, they don`t flair, not even like boot cut.

Skinny jeans are jeans that are tight all the way up and down your leg. They are well for more petite figures.

skinny jeans are basically straight leg jeans that are really tight throughout your entire legs. they fit great for people who have really skinny and thin with no muscle on the leg! i don't think it matters how short or tall you are!

go to gap.com. they have tons. they are calling them the audrey hepburn. They are really tight and taper the bottom. They are best on skinny people. Do not wear them if you have a big mid section, they make big girls look even bigger. They stop at the ankles.
