Whoa...you are lucky...I have an 03 Cav and mine cuts out at 108
You have 4 mph on me but I'm not sure that the vehicle in question would fare so well in a high speed crash...heck mine has dents from a deer, a woodchuck and a big bird that apparently was committing suicide. I don't think the cavilier was made to be souped up?? I am happy with the performance of my economical little Cavi. though...maybe you should just be happy with what you have and resort to not going over 112...Be Safe

yes I have and they look and sound like crap. Why do kids take cars like this and invest so much money into them? If you can afford to put 10,000 into a beater car like a cavalier than why would you not consider a used BMW or a used sports car like a 300ZX or an RX-7.

I have checked in the past for a "super-chip" program for a sun-fire with the same engine. but it has been about 4 years ago. go to super chips on line and see what they have to offer. this will pick up your top-speed, horse power, fuel economy and performance. also, put a cold air intake on it, a tornado, (tornado.com), k&n air filter, etc. gutting the catylitc converter will also help.

I have an 03' cavalier thats hooked up and its worth it. how could you even ask? if civics are worth hooking up so are cavaliers! cavaliers cost more and are faster! you can make a cavalier fast just take it to a proffesional..

the electronic thing is called a governor. that is on there so that the maximum speed that the tires can handle is not exceeded. Tune away.
