My husband says that the black ex-footballer on 'Dancing with the Stars' last season is the same guy running for the governor of Pennsylvania. I think his last name is Swann. I say that they are two different guys. Who' right??

I did not watch the show, but I thought that it was Jerry Rice (49ers WR) on the show and Lynn Swan (Steelers WR) is running for governor. So, I think that you are right.

The man on Dancing with the Stars last season was former 49ers WR Jerry Rice. Lynn Swann is the man running for governor of PA - he was formerly a wide receiver with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Lynn Swann is the former football player running for Gov. of PA as a Republican. Although the man could dance and proably would have done good on the show he never appeared on it. Last season it was Jerry Rice, mostly of 49ers fame although also on the Raiders at the end, so different former WR.

Dancing with the Stars is Emmett Smith of Dallas Cowboy Fame. Lynn Swan is a former Pittsburgh Steeler. They are both Awsome players, but Swan was so great in the 80's that I would vote for him if I lived in PA.

Lynn Swan is his name and he was a Steeler in the 70s and in the Hall of Fame. I don't know about the Dancing thing, but he is running for govenor. He also took ballet when he played to help him with his jumping skills. He is still very active in promoting the Pittsburgh Ballet so it is possible.
I looked around a little and I could find that Jerry Rice was on it http://www.gatago.com/alt/arts/ballet/7079407.html.
But I couldn't find that Lynn Swan was.

Jerry Rice is a retired NFL receiver. He was on DWTS last season. Lynn Swann is also a retired NFL receiver. He was not on DWTS and is running for governor of PA.
