Women in Nubian weddings donot wear Dakshikis.They wear white western style wedding dresses in most cases in Egypt. Ive seen some satin dresses worn as well in colors, but the galabiya is traditionally worn around the house every day (a long dress like a mumu). For the wedding the hands and feet are decorated with wonderful designs oft times very intricate using Henna. So you can go to an Arab or Indian(India) neighborhood to get your hands and feet covered with henna designs. Only women do this -not men for you.
