1.) list the five major division of chemistry ?
Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, nuclear chemistry

alternates: analytic chemistry and theoretical chemistry

2.) what is the purpose of an expeiment as part of the scientifif method ?

The purpose of the experiment is to validate theories and hypothesis, and to empirically learn the properties of chemicals and their behaviors.

3. name two physical proteries that could be used to distinguish between these substance ?

First, I'll define physical property: A physical property is any aspect of an object or substance that can be measured or perceived without changing its identity. Examples: phase at room temperature, melting and boiling point, heat of fusion and vaporization (the amount of energy required to change phase), density, color, odor, etc.

A.WATER AND RUBBING ALCOHOL

evaporation energy - rubbing alcohol will evaporate at room temperature much quicker because it takes less energy to evaporate it
odor - rubbing alcohol has an odor, water does not

B.GOLD ALUMINUM

Color - gold is yellow, aluminum is silvery
Melting point - Aluminum melts at 660 C, Gold melts at 1064 C.

C.HELIUM GAS AND OXYGEN GAS

Density: Helium is lighter than air, oxygen is not.
Boiling point: Oxygen goes from gas to liquid at -182 C, whereas Helium only becomes a liquid at -272 C.

this question isnt very sparkling. If all the strategies are saturated then answer 2 has better solubility. it may dissolve extra solute in step with unit quantity, and as a result has better solubility.
