Although she didn't do any jail time, she is a convicted sex offender. That is going to follow her for the rest of her life.
She also is no longer able to teach.
She is under house arrest for three years, and then she has another 7 years of being monitored by the court. And during this time she is required to check in with a probation officer and wear that ankle bracelet.
So, she might not be in jail but she is paying for her offenses.

There is a double standard here. But on the other hand, the psychological issues a thirteen year old girl experiences after sleeping with a teacher are completely different than the issues a thirteen year old boy would experience. Society is slowly changing, but the time was when if a thirteen year old boy told an older man he'd slept with a female teacher he'd be congratulated. A girl in the same situation would be either pitied of shunned.

There is a double slandered! If it has of been a 24 year old man with a 13 year old female, HE would still be in jail! I guess the judges are still mostly men who think the kid got “lucky”

If a male teacher sleeps with a female student, he's a pervert. If a female teacher sleeps with a male student, she's a victim.
There's something not right about that. This woman belongs in jail, just like a male teacher would be.

Not according to the Double Standard that exists. It's just a big joke as far as everyone's concerned. If you want to get away with something, just put on makeup and disguise yourself as a woman.

She was not jailed.....she was sentenced to three years of house arrest. The judge granted her permission to go to the interview. I watched a clip of it and she would have been better off not doing it. She sounded like an idiot (she obviously is one.) She said they had oral sex because he wanted it.......no s*%$ Sherlock what 14 year old boy wouldn't.....................
