i am 23 and i still watch anime. i love the way that some of the anime cartoons are much more intelligent than American cartoons (like ed,Edd, and eddy or billy and Mandy) and i love how creative they are. i like naruto, inu yasha, fushugi yuugi(sp?), gundam wing, big O, fist of the north star, dragon ball Z, armatage, blue gender, sailor moon, and escaflone(sp?)

Well, I think it's a phase, but people go through it at different times. Just like some people go through the teenage soap opera (ie: Degrassi) or the Barbie phase. I know some people, mid forties, who like Inuyasha and Naruto, versus some seven and twelve year olds who like it. It's just the way a person matures that decides when they like the stuff. Some people never go through it. I hope this helps.

"Dood! It haz lotz of FIGHTING and BIG SWORDS and KYOOT GURLZ!!!"
(that was my anime dork impersonation -- I'm not knocking all anime, but I also think those shows are pretty stupid)
I will concede that I sometimes watch Inuyasha....it's far better than Power Rangers, any day.

I don't know. Some of it is okay, but it gives kids a new world. When reading the books and seeing them on tv, they get soaked into a new place.

It's a phase for them. Like how younger kids love Power Rangers or something like that.
