Food banks. That's easy work. Throw cans into big bins, that type of stuff. My mom volunteers for Habitat for Humanities, and that is great community service! It's fun, and it provides homes at affordable prices. It gets people off the streets! Check it out!

There are many places that would love to have you come help them. You can call the local religous orginizations and they will be happy to lead you to the right plaes. The school would love to as well.

salvation armies- they are always looking for people to ring the bells near the big money kettle things near christmas time, or a homeless shelter, food bank/ soup kitchen, or your local pet shelter/ pound or the vetinary office
