A pretty, quiet meadow filled with lush, overgrown grass with wildflowers sprinkled here and there along a slow moving creek that has a willow tree there, by the brook... There's a cardinal in the tree calling... It's early morning and everything smells so fresh...

for some reason, the first image that popped into my head when i read the word "wildflowers" was an image of a sun flower.

It makes me think of when I left New Mexico..

I picked some wildflowers (mostly they looked like the dried ones that you can get at the craft stores), they are STILL in a clear vase in my "southwestern" bathroom and I used the "white sand" from Alamogordo, NM to fill the vase with...........

Sprintime in the mountains when everything is starting to blossom. All the different colors, and the fragrances of the flowers. It's beauty at it's finest.
