Stick with your boyfriend. Hes your ex now. Move on. If you still wanna talk then become friends. Just make sure you tell your boyfriend before he starts jumping to conclusions.

Tough situation ... he might be smiling at you because he's ready to become friends again ... you never know, but if I were you I would stay with your current boyfriend, because you and your ex broke up ... that's why he's your "ex". So you should just move on ... (but that doesn't mean you can't still be friends) .
