I feed mine Osmocote once a month, and all of my plants are big and beautiful!

I feed monthly when they are gowing active. Say from April - November. Otherwise I feed once over the winter months. Maybe in January or February. I like Miracle Grow. Easy to use and not too expensive. Does not seem to burn plants if mixed a little strong.

I try to do it during the growing season March to October every couple weeks for my inside plants and out side potted plants. But.... since I grow nearly all perennials I only feed them once in the early spring. A few other annuals get fed erratically.

Watering every day to every other day. Feeding, whenever you see fit, really. There's no set amount of time. I do like once a week.
