Eat a healthy balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruit and veg, drink plenty of water and a good multi-vitamin and mineral supplement are the best things for a healthy body, but you need to just double check with your Dr that it's OK to take supplements.

I would also direct your question to the Dr who took you off the medication.

I hope you feel better soon. Good luck.

What kind was it? I would just ask your doctor or a person from your local heath department if you are feeling really low energy levels. You probably need a multivitamin--maybe, plus exercise-even if just a nice brisk walk ( my favorite kind) for 30 minutes 3 times a week, and eating fruits and vegetables. If you eat pretty healthy, then you could skip the multivitamin. Also, do not take a vitamin if you have stomach problems such as acid reflux or gastritis, etc, because those can sometimes make it worse-check with your doctor for sure about that. Get plenty of sleep and drink more water to make you feel better as well. Anytime you come off of medicine, there will be an adjustment period, so allow yourself plenty of sleep and relaxation.

Don't know what medication you are coming off of, but two good references for building health and supporting your body are Adelle Davis's Let's Get Well, and Mike Murray's Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine, which discusses health and well being at length and gives a ton of good advice.
Good luck and God bless!
(If you are coming off of cancer chemotherapy, you may want to see Murray's How to Prevent and Treat Cancer with Natural Medicine, and Pat Quillen's Beating Cancer with Nutrition; both a classic!)

I would maybe try going to your local gym and working out or if you cant afford the gym try exercising at home or outdoors like running or bike riding. When I came off my medication I tried alot of exercises and eating healthy and it helped me but we are all different. Just do what is best for you and good luck!!
