When I start talking with people, I usually have this drive, this confident feeling in me, but then after a while, I feel out of place and start to feel negative. My eyes look away from the person Im talking to and they can tell I feel very uncomfortable. Sometimes I kind of glare and maybe the person tlaking to me feels that Im not interested in what they have to say or that im being sarcastic. I just hate this feeling and have tried to stay positive but i fail. What can I do. Because of this, Ive been having emotional and self esteem issues. I need advice...

your problem is, you are listening to yourself and not to the people talking to you. pay attention and frequently ask questions about what you are conversating. be involved in a conversation.

An old trick of professionals, keep your gaze just an inch above the other persons eyebrows. Stare at their forehead when have those feelings, they'll never know you're not looking them in the eye. Once you regain your composure and confidence, go back to the eyes if want.

Here's what I did when I had that problem:

I would look them in the eye, and when my confidence falters, I would switch my focus from their left eye to their right, or I would let my eyes relax, looking through them rather than at them. I would then use the importance of what I am saying to bring me back.

No matter how hard it may seem to you, never take your eyes from theirs. You could pretend you are looking at a Holographic Projection or a TV, if it would work better for you.

Pick a point on their face and focus on it like the corner of their eye or perhaps their ear lobe. It will appear as if you're looking them in the eye but you won't be. Good luck.

Self control. Just force yourself to look at them. I'm not sure there is much else you can do.

A sneaky trick is to look at the bridge of their noise. To them it's like your looking in their eyes, but your not.
