Yes. The ocean is made up of salt water which will sting your eyes.

That is easy try opening your eye in a water full of bucket that is 3% salt. And then if you don’t want then think what will it fell to put salt in to your eye.

More so than if you do it in fresh water... but not extremely painful... your tears are salt water.
When I became a certified diver, I had to take the mask off under water, set it on the bottom, and reach for it to put it back on. A little uncomfortable, but not that bad...

Hello, I have done that and because of the salt, it does hurt a little bit, I guess it depends on how sensitive your eyes are.

they dont hurt they feel kinda weird, but its just like opening your eyes in normal water

well i think that it depends on how long but if its only for a second it wont hurt.i have been to the ocean alot and its never hurt me yet
