It is a certainty that it will be after yesterday.
Galaxies end, so I am sure worlds do. As a culture living in space we should be more mobile.

The world ended in Noah's day with a great flood. All bad people were destroyed. The world of bad people will again be destroyed.

"The World" can be many different things!!
My first instinct is that it will end by destruction of the earth, by something universal, like a collision with another rock, or something wicked we don't know about.
