wouldnt it be 5? 26 is the sum of the data.

if the data points are 3, 5, 5, 6, 7
then the middle point in that is 5 and the mean is 26/5 and the mode is 5 (it occurs most often).

to get the median, you would write all the numbers down in increasing order and then count how many you have and take the middle one. as in if you have 5 numbers, you would take the 3rd one from the list. if you have 25 numbers, you would take the 13th. if you have 10, you would average the 5th and 6th. etc

If you have a list with an odd number of numbers, just take the 3rd one: that's the median.

The mean is where you have to add them all up and divide by the number of numbers. No addition is necessary for your 5-item list's median.

the median is the middle number of a set in numerical order. if there is an even number of values, it would be the average of the two

You know the 13th number is from the third bar and the 14th number is from the fourth bar. I would average the values from those bars.
