I'm lookng for a new job. I hate the one I have, and I've tried monster.com and similar sites, but I didn't go to college and most of those jobs require degrees.

If you are looking to change jobs look around your town. If the newspaper isn't cutting it for you look into temp services. They will send you to different jobs. This way you can make money while you learn new skills that will broaden your skillset to be able to get a better job.

What field are you in? Having a degree makes more difference in some than in others.
The best thing to do is - networking. There are almost always professional groups in various fields. Connect with people who do what you do (or want to do). This gives you a chance to let them know you are interested in looking.

you can go on the internet or you can go to different aggencies and apply there or talk to friends and ask them for good jobs and apply im sure youll find one good luck

college is most imp. is it possible to go to school at local college w/ financial aid or at nite? it will make so much difference for your entire working life.

you go to places where you would consider working. go in and say "may i have a employment application please". then take it with you and fill out. return with a copy of your resume.
