you have to have 560 to pass the alabama high school graduation exit exam. i got 544 out of 560. now, math whizzes out there...could you tell me how many questions you have to get correct to get 560 points when there are 100 questions on he exam. thank you

That depends upon the total number of available points...

Total # of Points divided by 100 is needed before you can figure this out. Take 2 examples:
1,000 pts/100 questions = 10 pts per question; so, 560/10=56 correct out of 100 questions.
800 pts/100 questions = 8 pts per question; so, 560/8 = 70 correct out of 100 questions.

It appears you fell just short of the minimum points needed to pass.

Unfortunately you are NOTsaying how many are the maximum points you can achieve if you answer all 100 questions correctly. I think that you need to say " if answer all 100 questions, you'll get ___points. Obviously 560 is not the highest you can score.

It depends on whether they apply consistent points per question, or if the point system varies based on the degree of dificulty. Supposing they are distributed equally, we would also need to know how many questions you got right in order to extrapolate a passing point based on your previous score.

well, most likely than not, different questions have more points than the other, depending on what they are about, and the difficulty level.
