Jet Li is not dead as far as I've been able to find out. I assume you're asking because of the ads for his new movie "Fearless" that say "Jet Li's final Kung Fu epic". In fact he has a movie called (at this time) "Rogue" that is in post production that came after "Fearless". I'm still trying to find out, myself, why they are advertising "Fearless" that way. What I suspect is that they mean this is his last classic Kung Fu epic of the sort he is so well known for in China. These are the movies he's made that are set in historical periods in China and are based on traditional "Kung Fu epic" story lines (like "Crouching Tiger/Hidden Acting" ). "Rogue", for instance, is a modern day thriller about an FBI agent seeking vengeance against a mysterious hit man. "Unleashed" (also known as "Danny the Dog") was a marvelous psychological thriller. At a guess I'd say the ads simply mean he will be sticking to more modern movie types from now on.
