A friend of mine in the Philippines told me that some 200 Filipinos died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. I find this a little hard to believe,,,,Does anyone know how many, if any Filipinos were killed on 9/11 ??

Please,,,don't be offended when I say I'm surprised that 200 Filipinos were killed there. I just say that because only 25 Canadians were killed on 9/11 and we are right beside the US. I don't mean to be offending anyone

at least six filipinos from the philippines were reported killed but there could have been more filipino americans that we were not aware of.

nobody knows about the real figure, in general.. America doesn't want to count the exact figure because that hurts a lot.. And if there were 200 Filipinos killed, why would you be affected? I too may not believe but if this was the number, it makes no big deal to me..

many unaccounted persons killed in 9/11 , and the actually numbers are buried deep inside by the govt. i believe more than what is reported is the true account of casualty in 9/11. for the filipinos maybe they are like the mexicans, many are undocumneted aliens working in the usa.

it is not safer. bear in mind interior the Clinton administration there wasn't an attack on U.S. soil for Clinton's final six years. It takes too plenty making plans and time to make yet another attack. possibly we'd see yet another terrorist attack on 2008 or 2010.

who cares the nationality too many people were killed period
a confirmed 2,973 people died and another 24 are missing but presumed killed as a result of these attacks.
that's crazy as it is and a tragic loss...so with this amount do you really see that much fillipinos perishing too be incredible !
