this girl was behind me talking on her cell phone. i was confidently walking not even doing anything to irk her but she started talking loud and saying words like b i t c h, the n word...and yeah, she will defend herself by saying that she was talking on her cell phone not to me but coffee break! I'm female and African American? My only theory was that she was making a big deal out of my confidence and it was a threat to her? I dunno. Someone make me understand why stupid people like that walk on this earth?

sadly, there are still a few dinosaur families that still teach prejudice within their families. if these people would get educated, they would realize how stupid they are.
a bunch of morons. hell, the only difference in skin color is the amount of melanin that is within the skin.
people are just stupid..well, some of them. things are getting better, more equal. i personally teach my kids not to say things like "that black woman over there said...."..basically to not identify human beings by their race. they understand the wrongness of that slight thing that we do without realizing.
i ask them, "what if that woman was white? would you say, "that white woman over there said....?" the answer is always no.
i don't know why so many embiciles walk the planet, but my guess is they didn't like school and they are poorly educated, if at all.
i'm just waiting to see the day when a black woman is president. i'm pushing 34, and i want to see it before i die.
oh, and i'm the whitest cracker there is!

Too bad its not a co-worker. sounds like the little white B needs an attitude adjustment or a new job. I will never tell you that I haven't used the N word, BUT, mine is in a context of conversation with friends "black" that call me the same thing, and never around anyone else that could possibly be offended. And just think, here we are in the year 2006 and we still cant All get along..I guess my point is, On the phone or not, the words she used offended you, doesn't matter to me that the girl is black or White or Asian, she should keep her conversation to herself.
