Yes...haha. I can just see myself as an old crepid woman with the sun spotted hands and veins sticking out. Haha. I think it just has to do with having a low percentage of body fat. Also, the more active you are, the more your veins tend to protude and be bright.

Yes, mine kind of stick out a bit. I think it depends on the thickness of the skin.
